Turkiye and Iran agreed on "joint operation"

Iran and Turkiye can carry join operation said Iranian Deputy of Interior Minister Hussein Zolfaqari.

The third meeting of the Joint Working Group between Turkiye and Iran was held in Tehran with the participation of Turkish Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, Muhterem Ince and Iranian Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Hussein Zolfaqari.

Muhterem İnce said in the meeting, "We see positive developments that will benefit both countries, noting that the friendly relations between the two countries are moving in a good way."

"The two countries' friends in the region welcome this level of Iranian-Turkish relations, but the enemies of the two countries are unhappy at the level of relations," he said, positively assessing the travel of Iran's Interior Minister and border troops' commander to Turkiye.

'Iran and Turkiye had very good achievements in fighting terrorism. The two countries have acted well in the face of security threats and a good regional progress has been made that if the trend continues, there will be more stability and peace in the region,' Hussein Zolfaqari said.

Iranian Deputy of Interior Minister for Security and Law Enforcement stressed on the increased coordination and cross-border cooperation between the two countries, and said, "The main cause of the victories of Iran and Turkiye in the border zones is internal will and the absolute desire of the two countries in this regard."
