A rise in the general index was realized in CPI (2003=100) on the previous month by 1.06%, on December of the previous year by 1.06%, on the same month of the previous year by 20.35% and on the twelve months moving averages basis by 17.16% in January 2019.
In January 2019, the indices rose for miscellaneous goods and services 3.62%, for health 3.56%, for recreation and culture 3.18% and for hotels, cafes and restaurants 1.07%.In January 2019, the other group that indicated a decrease was housing by 3.10% amongst the main groups.Miscellaneous goods and services with 29.63%, furnishing, and household equipment with 29.07%, recreation and culture with 23.15% and hotels, cafes, and restaurants with 19.89% were the other main groups where high annual increases realized.A rise in CPI excluding unprocessed food, energy, alcoholic beverages, tobacco and gold was realized in CPI (2003=100) on the previous month by 0.18%, on December of the previous year by 0.18%, on same month of the previous year by 19.55% and on the twelve months moving averages basis by 17.21% in January 2019.In January 2019 within average prices of 418 items in the index, average prices of 21 items remained unchanged while average prices of 267 items increased and average prices of 130 items decreased.
Domestic producer price index increased by 0.45%Domestic producer price index (D-PPI) increased by 0.45% on monthly basis, by 0.45% on December of the previous year basis, by 32.93% on the same month of the previous year basis and by 28.70% on the twelve months moving averages basis in January 2019.
D-PPI increased by 2.83% for mining and stone quarrying, by 0.47% for manufacturing, by 0.38% for electricity and gas and decreased by 6.88% for water supply compared with the previous month.
The highest monthly increase was in other mining and quarrying productsThe highest rates of monthly increase in D-PPI by subdivisions of industry were the index for other mining and quarrying products by 4.67%, for coal and lignite products by 4.22%, for other transport equipment by 3.94%. On the other hand, the highest rates of monthly decrease in D-PPI by subdivisions of the industry was tobacco products by 31.23%, for crude petroleum and natural gas by 11.70%, for water; water treatment and supply services by 6.88%.According to the main industrial groupings classification in January 2019, the highest rate of monthly increases was in capital goods and the highest rate of annual increases was in energy.
