Raziya al-Mutawakkil, the head of the Yemeni-based Muwatine Human Rights Organization, called on the US Congress to stop the sale of arms to the Saudis and the United Arab Emirates [UAE], saying, "Before the US humanitarian aid, bombs are reaching Yemen."
The Saudi-led coalition killed thousands of civilians using US weapons, she said, adding that most of the attacks by the Gulf Coalition could lead to war crimes.
Stating that while the United States is supposed to stop sales of arms to the Gulf Coalition, al-Mutawakkil said it only gets a promise out of Saudis and UAE to pay attention to civilian casualties.
She noted that despite two years passed, the Gulf coalition continues to massacre in Yemen.
"The Yemenis also see the United States as a part of the war. Yemen has an outrage against the United States," she said.
