Warrant decision for TMA executives

A detention decision was made against 11 administrators of the Turkish Medical Association over the scandalous statements on the Afrin operation.

The Turkish Medical Association [TMA] has made a scandalous statement with the title "War is a public health problem" with regard to the operation that the Turkish Armed Forces launched against the Aleppo's Afrin of Syria on January 20.

According to the information, the Ankara Chief Public Prosecutor launched an investigation against 11 members of the TMA Central Council.

Warrant decision was made for suspects including TMA President Raşit Tükel and many reportedly were taken into custody.
