"Baghdad is ready for cooperation with Ankara for the operation against PKK," Iraqi Parliament Speaker Selim Cuburi said in the message.
Speaking to Shafaq News and Rudaw, Abdul Malik Hussein, the spokesman of Cuburi, said that the Iraqi Parliament Speaker informed Ankara of the discomfort he felt in the PKK's activities.
Stating that Cuburi met with the government's senior officials in Ankara during the invitation of Turkish Assembly President Ismail Kahraman on March 15, Abdul Malik Hussein said; "Parliament Speaker conveyed the opinion that Baghdad does not allow armed groups to pose a threat to shelter to the region's security, such as the PKK."
Cuburi, who visited Ankara on Thursday, also met with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Deputy Prime Minister Bekir Bozdağ announced that talks with Iraq on a possible military operation were positive.
