HUDA PAR President İshak Sağlam stressed that they would not participate in the local elections to be held on March 31 and that this was not a boycott decision.
Underlining that they are acting with the sensitivities of the organizations and voters, Sağlam stated that their party work will continue at the point of listening to the problems of the people and producing solutions even if it is not in the form of asking for votes.
Stating that they have not taken any steps other than the principles, Sağlam added that they have made decisions as a result of consultations. "We don't have any decision to vote for any party."
Stating that they have decided not to participate in the elections, Sağlam said, "This decision is that the party will not participate in the elections individually or with an alliance."
"We take our decisions on our own with the approval of our authorized committees in accordance with the principles and programs that our party is building on," Sağlam underlined.
"As HUDA PAR, we do not boycott the March 31 elections. We have no such statement and no such attitude," Sağlam added.

Stating that they will resume their work, Sağlam said, "Parties have to prioritize the sensitivities of the base and the voters while making their decisions. And we will act with the sensitivity of the organization and the voters."
