A special meeting was held by the Diyarbakır Governor's Office with "opinion leaders". Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, who attended the meeting via teleconference, stated that allies know that America has not established peace in the Middle East geography so far, but that it has confronted the people there with chaos.
Diyarbakır Governor Hasan Basri Güzeloğlu, Metropolitan Mayor Cumali Atilla, Chief of Police Tacettin Aslan, Chief Public Prosecutor Kamil Erkut Güre, Provincial Mufti Burhan İşliyen, institution directors and opinion leaders attended the meeting.
Interior Minister Süleyman Soylu, who attended the meeting via teleconference, expressed that they are in an important time zone.
"It is a point where we climbed up to the top of the mountain and we are in the most select place on that hill. This is exactly what we have to do at this point, we have been organizing for the last 16 years and we are continuing this path. Of course, the US that we are allies did not establish peace in the Middle East. Vice versa, it has confronted people with chaos. 3,500 people fled from there and came here. One and a half million people went to Jordan twice as much as Lebanon. America, our allies, had not made a single word statement about the people who went there. It did not take a single step. They [displaced people] have the right to go back to their own homes," said Soylu.
