Whether it's snow or rain, we'll continue the vigil, the mothers say

The mothers, who held a vigil for their children in front of HDP office in Diyarbakir because their children were kidnapped to the mountain by the HDP, said they would not give up their cases whether it was snow or rain.

Despite the cold weather, the mothers, who held a vigil for their children in front of HDP office in Diyarbakir because their children were kidnapped to the mountain by the HDP, said that they will not end the vigil unless their children are handed over to them.

In Diyarbakir, where the air temperature falls to 15-16 degrees during the day, despite all the weather conditions, the mothers who kept their vigil, Mekiye Kaya, Hüsniye Kaya, said that they could stay in the tent, if necessary, in snow or rainy weather, but they would not give up their case for a moment.

"Whether it snows or rains, we will not give up our cause and live in tents. We are staying here for our children and we will not leave until they hand them it over to us. We expect support from all over the world. Let them come here and support us. Let foreign states be behind us and support us so that our children could come," Kaya said.

"Our children are in the hands of infidels"

Stating that they are threatened every day, she said: "Our children have fallen into the hands of the infidels and we have stood at the door of our enemies. They threaten us every day. They tell us, 'get out of here, you are bandits'. No, we're not bandits, they're bandits, and they took our children. They hid my daughter here for a month, then took her to Syria and she is in the hands of the PKK."

Calling for support, Kaya said: "I call on the whole world, from the lawmaker to the president, to support us and bring our child. We're sitting here for our child, and we're not leaving here until our children come. Our psychology is turned upside down. We cry every day. I am old now. Let my daughter live her life. It is my enemy who takes my child.

"I will not leave here until I die"

The mother of kidnapped soldier Müslüm Altintaş, Songül Altındaş, who has been on Vigil for two months, said:" We've been here 2 months and we're still here. I want my child from the PKK. When will the PKK release our child? Winter has arrived and the weather's cold. it rained and it could snow tomorrow. If the PKK has a conscience, let our child go. When will they show Mercy?

Noting that she only wants his child from the PKK, she said: "They keep my child under the ground, they have no rights to do it. I want my son to be given to me as soon as possible. Even if it snows, I'm here till the end. I will not leave here until my son comes. We'll stay here no matter what. They left us no choice. If they give us our son, we will get out of here. We're already in pain We're already in pain."
