According to the Red Crescent, 16-year-old Sa’eid Odeh suffered bullet injuries before soldiers kidnaped him while bleeding and later handed him over a dead body to a Palestinian ambulance crew.
A second Palestinian was shot in the back during clashes on Wednesday in the village and was rushed to a hospital for medical assistance, the Palestinian health ministry said in a statement announcing the 16-year-old’s death.
Violent clashes broke out in the evening between local youths and zionist forces after the latter blocked the main entrance to Odala village and imposed movement restrictions on local residents.
The clashes happened as the zionist army was conducting searches in the area for an alleged Palestinian gunman who opened fire on Sunday at a West Bank intersection, seriously wounding two Jewish settlers and lightly injuring another.
One of the settlers was pronounced dead in an israeli hospital on Wednesday, according to the Hebrew media.
