Zionist police banish eight Jerusalemite women from Al Aqsa Mosque

The zionist occupation police issued orders banning several Jerusalemite women from entering the Aqsa Mosque, amid persistence in harassing Muslim worshipers at their holy site.

According to local sources, the zionist police banished eight Jerusalemite women from the Aqsa Mosque for one week and ordered them to return again next week to receive similar orders banning their entry to the holy site for six months.

The police also summoned over 10 Jerusalemite women for interrogation after they left the Aqsa Mosque and detained them for several hours at the Qishla police station in the Old City.

Aqsa guard Mukhtar at-Tamimi was also handed a notice banning his entry to the Mosque for one week.

Meanwhile, police officers arrested a Jerusalemite man at the Asbat Gate after he left the Mosque and a Jerusalemite woman called Ashwaq Abdul-Wahed on a charge of taking photos inside the Aqsa Mosque compound.

Police forces also imposed movement restrictions on Palestinian citizens in the Old City of Jerusalem, especially on those walking to the Aqsa Mosque for prayers.
