Jerusalemite sources reported that groups of settlers broke into the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Maghareba Gate and ended their tour at Al-Silsila Gate.
The sources pointed out that the zionist occupation police closed the Maghareba Gate after the settlers’ incursions. The settlers embarked on provocative tours in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa before leaving from Al-Silsila Gate.
Since last week, the zionist regime imposed a strict and comprehensive lockdown on Occupied Jerusalem under the pretext of the coronavirus outbreak and prevented anyone from walking more than a kilometer from the vicinity of his home.
Hanadi Halawani, the expelled Jerusalemite activist, said that the occupation imposes strict measures against Jerusalemites while facilitating settlers' incursions into Al-Aqsa in an attempt to leave it an easy prey for the Jewish settlers.
Halawani called on the people of the Old City to stay in the Al-Aqsa Mosque and not leave it for the Jewish settlers.
Last month, the zionist police provided the settlers an additional half hour during the evening incursions.
The Temple groups had urged the zionist occupation authorities to tighten their grip over Jerusalemites, harass them, and banish them from Jerusalem. They pointed out the necessity of exploiting the unlimited American support for the zionist regime and push towards more Judaization projects.
Calls continue for all Muslims in 1948 Occupied Palestine and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to intensify their presence at Al-Aqsa Mosque to repel the Jewish settlers’ incursions.
