S-PPI (2017=100) increased by 1.36% monthly, by 31.94% on December of the previous year, by 34.47% on same month of the previous year and by 26.09% on the twelve months moving averages basis in August 2021.

Transportation and storage services increased by 36.83% annually

The indices increased by 36.83% for transportation and storage services, by 25.43% for accommodation and food services, by 12.62% for information and communication services, by 137.14% for real estate services, by 18.54% for professional, scientific and technical services, by 24.25% for administrative and support services compared with the previous year.

Transportation and storage services increased by 1.79% monthly

The indices increased by 1.79% for transportation and storage services, by 1.93% for accommodation and food services, decreased by 0.36% for information and communication services, increased by 3.35% for real estate services, decreased by 1.77% for professional, scientific and technical services, increased by 1.41% for administrative and support services compared with the previous month.

Compared to general S-PPI, lower annual change observed in 20 subdivisions while 7 subdivisions were higher

The lowest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for telecommunications services by 4.99%, for office administrative, support and other business support services by 6.86%, for legal and accounting services by 11.18%. On the other hand, the highest rates of annual increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for real estate services by 137.14%, for water transport services by 88.93%, for air transport services by 67.40%.

Compared to general S-PPI, lower monthly change observed in 18 subdivisions while 9 subdivisions were higher

The highest rates of monthly decrease in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for scientific research and development services by 7.69%, for services of head offices by 5.00%, for employment services by 3.74%.

On the other hand, the highest rates of monthly increase in S-PPI by subdivisions of services were for programming and broadcasting services 11.05%, for air transport services by 9.96%, for travel agency, tour operator and other reservation services by 5.22%.
