Sheikh Abdolhamid began his speech by quoting verses of the Holy Quran that say: “Believers! Fear Allah as He should be feared, and see that you do not die save in the state of submission to Allah. Hold fast together to the cable of Allah and be not divided. Remember the blessing that Allah bestowed upon you: you were once enemies then He brought your hearts together so that through His blessing you became brothers. You stood on the brink of a pit of fire and He delivered you from it. Thus, Allah makes His signs clear to you that you may be guided to the right way. And from among you there must be a party who invite people to all that is good and enjoin the doing of all that is right and forbid the doing of all that is wrong. It is they who will attain true success. Do not be like those who fell into factions and differed among themselves86 after clear signs had come to them. A mighty chastisement awaits them.” (Surah Ali-Imran Ayat 102 - 105)

“Piety, true unity, enjoining good and forbidding evil are essential conditions for the victory of Muslims. The cultivation of the Islamic community in these three subjects is the only way to the salvation of Masjid al-Aqsa,” Sheikh Abdolhamid said.

“If Muslims reclaim a unified political bloc, Al Aqsa Mosque will be liberated from zionist occupation”

Sheikh Abdolhamid warned Muslims not to fall into heedlessness, adding: “Although cruel rulers cannot invade Kaaba in accordance with the immutable constants of Allah's system (Sunnatullah), they occupied Al-Aqsa Mosque several times through the history when Muslims fell into heedlessness and moved away from Islamic values. The Crusaders occupied Jerusalem but it was liberated by Saladin Ayyubi. However, due to the spread of sin among Muslims, this time Masjid al-Aqsa was occupied by the Jews.”

Reminding the verses from the Holy Quran that say “Perhaps your Lord will have mercy on you. If you return to disobedience, We will also punish you again. We have made hell a prison for the disbelievers”, Sheikh Abdolhamid stated: “If Muslims strictly adhere to the teachings of Holy Quran, integrate the three things we have mentioned in their lives, and stop sinning and violating people's rights, they will definitely liberate Masjid al-Aqsa.

Islamic scholars and thinkers must ensure the awakening of Muslims

Calling on Islamic scholars and philosophers to intensify their efforts to make Muslims return to their original beliefs, Sheikh Abdolhamid said: If Islamic scholars and thinkers ensure the awakening of Muslims and gathered Muslims around the Holy Quran, taqwa, and the principles of enjoining good and forbidding evil, then Allah's help will be with Muslims. And They will be able to grow up a faithful and diligent generation that liberate Masjid al-Aqsa from zionist occupation.”
