The program, which was held at Eyüpsultan Culture and Arts Center, Istanbul, the foundation introduced the planned programs to be held during the Family year.

Mehmet Kaya, Chairman of the Siyer Foundation, who delivered a speech at the program that started with the recitation of the Qur'an by Hafiz Fatih Kaya, touched on the projects to be carried out during the year under the title of "Peaceful Family on Earth".

Kaya provided information about the family madrasa programs to be held with the participation of academicians and teachers who are experts in their field, family counseling conferences to be held exclusively for women, and the programs whose curricula are specially prepared for this year, such as Sümeyra bin Ubeyd Academy to be organized by the Ankara Siyer Association.

Muhammed Emin Yıldırım, the founder of the Siyer Foundation, delivered a speech within the scope of the program.

Yıldırım stated that the most serious problem experienced in every field today is the problem of human quality.

"It shows our quality as much as we can protect our humanity when we face a small test," Yıldırım said.

"One of the greatest values we lose today is our quality of humanity," Yıldırım underlined and asked where are we going to look for this quality of people we've lost?

"Today, the Ummah has not been corrupted just because humanity has been corrupted. The Ummah of Muhammad is the yeast of mankind. On the contrary, humanity is in this state because the Ummah Muhammad is corrupted. In the same way that our families are corrupted, this is the state of our Ummah," he noted.

When we talk about the negativity that is happening today, Yıldırım points out that the blame is always laid on others. "Our families are our schools."

Pointing to the verses of the Qur'an about what it takes for a house to become a garden out of the garden of the heaven, Yıldırım gave important messages about love, law, privacy and boundaries among family members in the light of these verses and concepts.

Yıldırım stated that Islam is not a cave religion, added that this religion is a religion in life, it does not accept nomadic life. "Islam is a religion that started in a cave, then continued at home and spread to the community from there."

"We may not be able to save Jerusalem, we may not be able to reach East Turkistan, Yemen. Our hands may not reach Rome. But in our homes, where we have the keys, we have to make the Qur'an prevail."

"Islam is the home civilization. Let us start a campaign to rebuild our homes so that we can speak again on behalf of this great civilization," Yıldırım said.
