Addressing to people from the central city of Qom on Wednesday, Khamenei referred to the root causes of the US' enmity toward Iran and said the nature and reality of the 1979 Iran's Revolution is the main reason behind such a deep and lasting hostility.

Recalling to a US official recently said that he hoped to celebrate the New Year 2019 in Tehran, Khamenei pointed out that these celebrations have passed and their hopes have been wasted.

Khamenei stated that officials of the country must be well aware that the United States and Europe's threats are ungrateful as well as the promises and signatures.
