According to the UAE's National Center of Meteorology, the earthquake was recorded at 11.40am.

"A 5.4 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale is recorded in South of Iran at 11.40, 06-11-2019 UAE time," NCM said on Twitter.The earthquake was centered some 80 kilometers north of the port city of Bandar-e Lengeh and 120 kilometers west of Bandar Abbas,

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
