The platform stated that as sensitive academicians of National Tafsir Platform in Turkey, they have learned with great sorrow the Saudi Government’s decision for the execution of the totally innocent Muslim scholars representing the unity of all Muslims.

"It must be known well that all of these scholars having been planned to be executed are loved and respected with high esteem all around the world; and thus, such a saddening decision has deeply wounded all of the Islamic world."

The platform warned that "Indeed, the realization of such a devastating action is the greatest injustice to human rights, freedom of thought, and belief."

"We strongly object to such a decision given by Saudi Arabia against these Islamic scholars just after the Ramadan feast, and we sincerely invite all Muslims and all people to give the necessary reactions against this loathsome decision. It is a great cruelty to accuse the scholars of Islam of wrongdoing and attempt to take them to gallows."

"Unfortunately, it is extremely deplorable for some of the Saudi scholars to be on the agenda, who are held in jail in inhumane conditions and are not allowed to contact with their families and their lawyers. And they are not even allowed to be treated due to their health problems."

"It is definitely unacceptable that those who must equally provide justice among all people have unfortunately become those who will produce persecution."

"A Muslim state that has to make Islamic scholars the crown of their heads or value them greatly, honor their dignity, and provide them the right to speak freely is on the verge of intending to kill all these innocent scholars instead of protecting them against any threats. This is absolutely not bearable anymore."

"With the execution and death of these Islamic scholars, the Saudi State authorities will have betrayed themselves because the death of a scholar is like the death of the whole world. That is, killing a human being is like killing all human beings. Those who plan to execute the scholars! Do you not draw a lesson from Kabul, who unjustly killed his own brother Abel?"

"The Saudi State officials cannot pass over the execution of these innocent scholars by just saying, "This is our internal affair!" In Saudi Arabia, the execution of the scholars has come to the agenda of the entire Ummah, and without any doubt, they are the values that have been accepted by all the Ummah. Additionally, they are all the common treasure of the Islamic Ummah. Let them alone be executed, even if they are kept in prison for one hour, it will be enough for you as a sin that will ruin a lifetime of yours. It should be known that cruelty does not bring you any happiness."

"These criticisms should not be seen from the outside, but from the inside. We want not only our own but all the Islamic geography to achieve the happiness of both this world and the hereafter."

"Come and do yourself a favor during these blessed Ramadan days. Stop the persecution of scholars in your dungeons. Believe us or not these atrocities do never hurt them. All of them have already turned into heroes among all the Muslims. If you execute them or continue to hold them in your dungeons, it will remain and be mentioned as a black mark or disgrace in your history. Do not doubt that the goodness you will do, when you renounce the attempt to kill these scholars, will not be to them; but rather it will be to you."

"We sincerely declare that we always stand by the Saudi scholars as Tafsir Academicians Platform in Turkey. We are all wholeheartedly against the possible execution by the government of Saudi Arabia after the Ramadan Feast."
