Taliban kills dozens of Afghan security forces
Taliban members have killed at least 28 security forces in overnight attacks in northern Afghanistan.
A security outpost came under a Taliban attack that left 13 pro-government forces dead and several personnel injured in Dasht-e-Archi district of northern Kunduz province.
In another attack, 15 security forces were killed in the neighboring Balkh and Takhar provinces.
Zabihullah Mujahid, Taliban spokesman, claimed a total of 50 government forces were killed in the overnight attacks across the three provinces.
