“The issue of terror will no longer be on our agenda as number of brave people increases”
Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has once again praised the mothers of Diyarbakır who continue their sit-in protest in front of the HDP's provincial office in Diyarbakır for their sons and daughters that were abducted by the PKK organization.
President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed via videoconference the party’s 7th ordinary provincial congresses in Ağrı, Ardahan, Bolu, Diyarbakır, and Hatay.
Erdoğan noted that matters abused for long years by the terrorist organization and its political extensions have been resolved thanks to reforms, and said: “I believe the issue of terror will no longer be on Turkey’s agenda as the number of brave people who, like the Diyarbakır mothers, defend their children, future and will increases.”
Drawing attention to the positive outcomes that have started to be seen in recent years as a result of the ongoing fight against terror both at home and abroad, Erdoğan said that Turkey has been making terrorists targeting Turkey’s unity pay for the blood they shed no matter where they hide.
The number of new recruits by the terrorist organization and its capacity to carry out attacks have decreased significantly thanks to the operations conducted and the measures taken, Erdoğan underlined, adding that the climate of serenity and security in Turkey, particularly in the Eastern and Southeastern regions, has grown stronger as the separatist terrorist organization has lost ground.
Stating that almost all of the matters abused for long years by the terrorist organization and its political extensions have been resolved thanks to reforms, Erdoğan pointed out: “I believe the issue of terror will no longer be on Turkey’s agenda as the number of brave people who, like the Diyarbakır mothers, defend their children, future and will increases.”
