The little boy waiting for help for his burned body
The Syrian 3-year-old boy, whose a large part of body burned as a result of hot water spilling on him, waiting for charity's help to get the silicon-based clothes.
Muhammed El Ibrahim, who took refuge in Turkiye with his wife and 2 children two years ago because of the civil war in their country, settled in Ankara.
Hot water poured on Isa al Ibrahim, the eldest child of the Syrian couple Mohammed Al-Ibrahim and Hibe Al-Hatip Ibrahim, while his mother was cooking dinner in the kitchen.
The little Isa was rushed to Ankara Children's Health and Diseases Hematology Oncology Education and Research Hospital. Little Isa, who managed to hold on to life even though the doctors said "he will not survive", struggled for 2 months in intensive care of the hospital. Little Isa was discharged after two months of treatment, with the intensive efforts of the doctors and the support of his family.
In order for little Isa to regain his old skin, he has to wear the silicon-based dress, which has to be replaced at least every three months and each cost for 5,000 TL [$895]. Father Ibrahim, because he works as free labor, he has no financial power to buy the silicon-based dress that his son should use.
The father Muhammad al-Ibrahim, 26, said that they demanded help from the authorities and the philanthropists on this issue for his son to gel well.
Saying that they struggle for this silicone-based dress for his son but haven’t received any support so far, father Ibrahim added, "I have no financial power to buy this silicon-based dress. I am trying to save my child."
The mother of little Isa also said her child is suffering great pains during the treatment and that her only wish is to see her son get well as soon as possible.
At the end of their interview with ILKHA's corresponded, the parents of little Isa demand help from authorities and philanthropists.
