The occupants destroy Palestinian homes
Zionist occupation forces have demolished five Palestinian houses in the West Bank under the pretext that they are unlicensed.
Palestinian residents of al-Walaja, a village five kilometers west of southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, parts of which was later annexed by the zionist terrorist regime to become part of Jerusalem, attempted on Monday without success to block zionists attempts to demolish four of their homes under the pretext of construction without the permit.
Conflicts broke out between the Palestinians and the zionist occupiers before the demolition.
The terror gang attacked Palestinians with tear gas and plastic bullets who did not want their houses destroyed.
While a Palestinian was wounded in the attack, many people were in danger of suffocation due to fired tear gas and stun grenades at the residents.
In the past two years, the occupiers have built thousands of houses for themselves, while demolished many Palestinian houses and settlements.
Moving the embassy of the US by President Donald Trump from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem has even encouraged terrorist gang administration.
More than 97 percent of al-Walaja’s 5000 dunums, mainly agricultural land, were considered Area C, according to the Oslo accords signed between the Palestine Liberation Organization and zionists in 1994, which means under full zionist control where residents cannot build to develop without the zionist terror army permission. The remaining 2.6 percent, or the inhabited area, was classified Area B, under Palestinian civilian administration but Israeli military control.
Since its occupation in 1967, along with the rest of the West Bank, terror gang had seized most of Al Walaja land to build two settlements, Gilo, and Har Gilo. Terrorist zionists later built the annexation wall on village land, further separating the agricultural land from the rest of the village, making them difficult to reach and harvest.
