The occupation zionist army on Wednesday morning targeted Palestinian resistance sites to the east of al-Zaytoun neighborhood, in Gaza City, with 15 shells.

The occupation army claimed the offensive comes in response to an explosive device fired at zionists military bulldozers that launched a limited incursion into Gaza’s borderland. The occupation army held Hamas responsible for the alleged explosion.

On the other hand, according to the Palestinian Information Center, the bulldozers of the occupying army entered the Gaza Strip this morning, breaching the border to level up more land.

It was also reported that the zionist army wanted to normalize the entry of the bulldozers into the Gaza Strip for various reasons, while the Palestinian resistance denied it and accepted the provocation.

Explanation from Hamas

On the other hand, Islamic Resistance Movement [Hamas] on Wednesday slammed the escalating strikes by the occupation army on the besieged Gaza enclave, saying they rather reflect the “hysterical” state and internal dilemma endured by the zionist occupation.

"Such strikes will only make our people more powerful and our will stronger in the face of the israeli colonizers," Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum said.

He added that the Palestinians will do whatever it takes to retrieve their rights and lift the oppressive zionists siege on Gaza.
