The US planning new decisions about Jerusalem: Haniyeh
Hamas Political Chief Ismail Haniyeh said that the US administration may take new decisions about Jerusalem in the coming period.
The Chairman of the Hamas Political Unit, İsmail Haniyeh, made remarkable statements at the conference held in Gaza.
Head of the Hamas Political Bureau, Ismail Haniyeh, on Saturday said that he has information that the US is planning to issue new decisions regarding Al-Quds during the coming period. "We have information that the U.S. administration may recognize Israel as a Jewish state, annex settlements and abolish the Palestinian right to return," added Haniyeh.
Haniyeh affirmed that Hamas does not recognize the 1967 borders and stressed that Jerusalem, with its eastern and western parts, is the eternal capital of the state of Palestine.
The Hamas official emphasized that the Arab and Muslim nations had fought throughout history to liberate Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque and they will never give them up under any circumstances.
He reiterated, "Donald Trump does not own Jerusalem and does not have the right to give it to israel," adding that there is no state called Israel to have Jerusalem as its capital.
