The West has always been hostile to Islam

HUDA PAR Vice President Abdurrahman Cens, who drew attention to the massacre of Halabja and the mosque attack in New Zealand, said Western imperialism has always been hostile to Islam and Muslims.

HUDA PAR paid a visit to Iraqi Kurdistan on the 31st anniversary of the Halabja massacre committed by Saddam regime.

HUDA PAR Vice Chairman Abdurrahman Cens, HUDA PAR Central Advisory Board Chairman İsa Aydın, HUDA PAR Central Advisory Board member Abdussamet Yalçın and party members visited the grave of those killed in Halabja massacre that carried out 31 years ago by Saddam regime.

HUDA PAR Vice President Abdurrahman Cens, who took part in the delegation during the visit, made assessments about the massacre of Halabja.

In a statement following the visit, Abdurrahman Cens said they have participated on behalf of HUDA PAR to the program held on the occasion of 31st anniversary of Halabja massacre.

Cens pointed out that the anniversary of the Halabja massacre has coincided with the terrorist attack on two mosques in New Zealand. "In this attack, we want to draw attention to the fact; yes, although this massacre has taken place with the hand of one of the murderers, we know well that no coup or massacre will take place without the green light of Western imperialism."

"Behind this, we need to see the Western imperialist," said HUDA PAR vice president.

"The attack in New Zealand was announced as 'Islamophobia' or as the action of an extremist nationalist, which something we disagree," said Abdurrahman Cens and noted that those statements are to discourse in the sense of diminishing the severity of the event.

"The correct name of this is enmity to Islam. Western imperialism nurtured these people by making them hostile to Islam, nurtured their brains and this atrocity was in question."

Noting the western hypocrisy of the West, Cens said, "Yes, although it has been 31 years since the Halabja massacre, yet a day has passed since the mosque attack in New Zealand. World leaders have not developed a common discourse."

"We need to know that if there are people who do not act in the interests of Western imperialism anywhere in the world or act in the opposite direction of their interests, they are all targets of the imperialists, no matter if they are women, elderly, children and civilians."

Stating that the whole world has witnessed the attitude of western towards refugees or humanitarian conditions in the camps and places where refugees live, Cens underlined that the West has no such thing as human values, it has its interests.

"Islamic Ummah must take a lesson from these massacres"

Calling on the Islamic Ummah on the occasion of Halabja and New Zealand massacres, Cens said the Islamic Ummah has to take a lesson from these massacres. "The solution and the measure are in Islam."

"If their rulers are either collaborators or servants who are moving in accordance with the interests of the West, Muslims need to raise their voices, improve the public in accordance to the measures taken from Islam. They need to know their enemy very well."

"In this cemetery, we know it was a Baath mentality that carried out this massacre, it was Saddam. However, we know very well that it was the Western mind gave him the weapons and gave him the green light. All arms traders, especially those who sell chemical weapons, have to be tried for crimes against humanity."

HUDA PAR Central Advisory Board Member Abdussamet Yalçın said that the massacre of Halabja shows the innocence of Muslim Kurdish People.

"Halabja reminds us of the oppressed of Kurds and Muslims and the cruelty of the oppressors"

Stating that the Halabja massacre reminds them of the oppressed of Muslim Kurds and the cruelty of oppressors, Yalçın noted that there are still oppressed and oppressors in the world. "The oppressed, become a symbol with the massacres and atrocities exposed to them by the oppressors."

"In this case, all human beings must take the lesson that the oppressors will be remembered on earth with a dark face, and the oppressed will always become the symbols of humanity."
