Trump replaces G7 meeting with video-teleconference due to coronavirus
The decision comes as a number of countries around the world have closed their borders and tightened travel restrictions over fears a coronavirus outbreak.
"In order for each country to focus on responding to the health and economic challenges of COVID19, the U.S. has informed other members of the G7 that the Leaders’ Summit we were set to host in June at Camp David will now be done by video-teleconference," tweeted Judd Deere, White House deputy press secretary, on Friday.
