Co-mayors of Nusaybin district in Mardin and Yüksekova district in Hakkâri have been replaced with trustees.

Co-mayors of Nusaybin and Yüksekova districts were arrested on “terrorism-related” charges.

Appointments of the trustees followed the arrest of Nergiz and Yaşar in a “terror investigation.”

Nusaybin District Governor Mehmet Balıkçılar and Yüksekova District Governor Osman Doğramacı have been appointed as deputy-mayors.
