Turkey calls Moldova to comply with UN resolution over relocating its embassy to Al-Quds
Turkish Foreign Ministry reacted to Moldova over its decision to relocate its embassy in the occupied regime to Jerusalem.
"We are deeply concerned about the reports on the relocation of Moldova’s Embassy in israel to Jerusalem," said Turkish Foreign Ministry in a statement responded to Moldova.
The ministry stated that they find it extremely strange that the issue of the status of Jerusalem, "which is of key importance with regard to reaching a just and lasting solution to the question of Palestine," is being exploited with internal political considerations, in violation of international law.
Calling upon all members of the international community to comply with the United Nations resolutions on Jerusalem, Turkish Foreign Ministry asked to respect its historical and legal status and to refrain from irresponsible acts that would jeopardize the stability of the region.
