“We as Turkey have differentiated ourselves from other countries by promoting investments and keeping the wheels of production turning all the time during the pandemic when the world has entered a critical period of faltering,” Erdoğan said, adding: “That Turkey continued to grow last year while the rest of the world shrank is the epitome of this very fact.”

“We have shown our difference once again by not allowing any setbacks in our country in the recent period during which the global channels of production, supply, logistics, and retail have come to a standstill.”

“With the belief that every crisis brings about new opportunities, we strive to turn the pandemic period, which has wreaked havoc across the world, into a new and great development initiative,” Erdoğan emphasized.
