Turkey raises natural gas prices for residential use by 12%

BOTAS, Turkey’s natural gas distributor, announced that it had increased natural gas prices for residential use by 12%, for industrial use by 20% and for electricity production by 20.2%.

The hike followed the EPDK energy regulator’s decision to hike consumer electricity prices by 15% as of Thursday due to rising production costs.
