Turkey records 5,862 daily confirmed cases of COVID-19
164 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 24,161, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Monday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 2,392,963, after 5,862 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 2,183 patients are in critical condition, 2,270,769 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
27,372,081 tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
