Turkey reports 243 corona deaths, 21,352 new cases within 24 hours
243 more people have died due to coronavirus in the last 24 hours, bringing the country’s death toll from the disease to 59,886, Turkey’s Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.
According to the statement, the number of confirmed cases rose to 6,658,251, after 21,352 more people tested positive for COVID-19 over the past 24 hours.
While at least 633 patients are in critical condition, 6,146,662 patients suffering from the disease have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital.
More than 80 million tests for coronavirus have so far been conducted to detect infections in the country.
