Turkish Meteorology service warning for snowfall
Turkish Meteorological Service has warned citizens for heavy snowfall that is expected in Bolu, Düzce, southeast of Sakarya, Hakkari, Bitlis, Şırnak, Van and Muş' southern districts.
According to the latest evaluations made by the General Directorate of Meteorology; It is estimated that the whole country is fragmented and very cloudy, while rain is expected in the east of Marmara, Inner Aegean, Mediterranean, Central Anatolia, Black Sea, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia and Kırklareli and Tekirdağ.
The meteorology service announced for sleet to be seen in the Mediterranean coasts, the coastal area of the Central and Eastern Black Sea and while rain and rainfall are expected in Southeastern Anatolia.
The statement read that snowfall is expected in Bolu, Düzce, southeast of Sakarya, Hakkari, and Şırnak east of the southern districts of Van.
The wind; It is expected to be strong [40-70 km/h] from the north, in the south of Central Anatolia and in the interior of the Mediterranean, from the Marmara, North and Coastal Aegean. It is estimated that icing and frost will be seen in the inner and eastern parts of Turkiye.
