According to Interfax agency, Turkiye has opened air space to Russia's TU-154M transport plane the previous day and allowed to reach Syrian Hamim air base in Lazkiye region in the shortest way.
After took off from "Chkalovsky" military base near Moscow, this transport plane made its flight over the Black Sea and Turkiye, landing at the Russian Hamim air base.
Despite the fact that the aircraft belongs to the Russian Ministry of Defense, military officials said that it carried cargo loads. "Despite the fact that Turkiye has opened air space to Russia, warplanes that bombarded targets in Syria still use Iran and Iraq airfields."
Some news agencies reported that the airspace had already been opened but was recently announced.
