Turkiye says it will establish camps in the Turkiye-controlled regions taken after operation "Euphrates Shield" and in Idlib province for 170,000 displaced people.

Preparations have started said Foreign Ministry spokesman Hami Aksoy for the establishment of 9 camps in Idlib and in the regions taken after the operation "Euphrates shield".

Turkish 'Red Crescent' and 'Disaster and Emergency Management Administration [AFAD] have started their work reportedly for the camps to be established in Azez, Elbil, Tugli, Tell Effer, Nadhah, Bardakli, and Mashad.

It was also stated that the camps will be established as a countermeasure against a refugee flood that could be experienced as the ongoing operation against Afrin.

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stressed in his party group meeting that operations for the Jandairis region were continuing and that after Jandairis was taken, the siege of the Afrin city center will begin.
