The number of unemployed persons above the age of 15 and those children in Turkiye decreased by 440,000 persons compared to the same period last year, during November 2017 was 3 million 275 thousand people. The unemployment rate was realized as 10.3 percent with a decrease of 1.8 percentage points.

In the same period; the non-agricultural unemployment rate was estimated at 12.2 percent with a 2.1 percentage point decrease. In the young population (15-24 years), the unemployment rate was 19.3 percent with a 3.3 percentage point decrease, while this rate was 10.5 percent with a 1.8 percentage point decrease in the 15-64 age group.
