We are confronted with artificial waves of financial instability
"We are confronted with artificial waves of financial instability although there is no problem with Turkiye’s macroeconomic data, production power, employment level or banking system," President Erdoğan said.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed citizens in Bayburt, Turkiye's province of Black Sea.
"We are confronted with artificial waves of financial instability although there is no problem with Turkiye’s macroeconomic data, production power, employment level or banking system," President Erdoğan said. "It is obvious that there are very different motives behind these attacks which are built on truly simple differences of opinion. Our relations with those countries, displaying such approaches, have reached the point of sustaining irreparable damages. We have no special animosity toward any country. We cooperate with all countries when our interests overlap. In addition, we try to resolve it through negotiations when our interests conflict. However, when it comes to cornering Turkiye to extract certain concessions that undermine our sovereign rights, it is a whole another story."
President Erdoğan continued his speech as follows: "We will continue to respond sincerely to every friendly hand extended to us, every friendly heart opened to us. We have reciprocated in kind to every step taken toward our country in good faith and will continue to do so. However, we are also prepared for all negative possibilities. Those, who rub their hands at the exchange rates, interest rates, and threats, should not get their hopes up to no avail. To us, they can merely be seasonal instruments on our path toward our goals."
"Whoever trusts in, invests in, and walks with Turkiye will definitely win. Yet, those, who seek minor gains at the cost of losing Turkiye, will, no doubt, deeply regret it," President Erdoğan underscored.
"We are determined to advance on our path not with daily decisions but with steps which will embrace the next few years," President Erdoğan noted. "I ask everyone to look ahead, to look at the real big picture. In the new era, we will establish a system within the Presidency which will monitor the efforts for development in all our 81 provinces."
