We have decided to withdraw our troops from NATO exercise: Erdoğan
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan announced that after the event in Norway, Turkiye has decided to withdraw troops from NATO exercises.
Speaking at the AK Party Provincial Presidents' Meeting, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that they have decided to withdraw Turkish troops from NATO exercise in Norway.
Erdoğan explained the reason for the decision to withdraw the troops in the NATO exercise in Norway, "Yesterday, there was a situation in Norway, a table called the enemy table, Atatürk's name was on the one side and my name was on the other side."
Erdoğan said, "When we received this news our Chief of General Staff and our minister responsible for the EU are on their way to Canada. They phoned me on their way and said that, and that was NATO exercise. We have 40 soldiers. We decided to withdraw these soldiers. The game is different. Similar events were done in the different places. There they also unfortunately in us. If we accept the power of weapons, then let us quit politics. There is nothing more powerful than the people."
