Independent MP candidate Zekeriya Yapıcıoğlu came together at a fast-breaking dinner [iftar] with non-governmental organizations in Diyarbakır.

Addressing to NGO representatives on the iftar program and Yapıcıoğlu said, "We do not have any other choice but to unite in order to help each other, remembering that we are brothers and establishing brotherhood between us. May my Lord, grant us all to see that brotherhood was established as soon as possible."

Yapıcıoğlu, who came together at a fast-breaking dinner with non-governmental organizations operating in Diyarbakır, expressed his commitment if he is going to be elected.

"We want to be the voice and representative of all the Islamic societies there"

Yapıcıoğlu added that he would be the voice of Islamic communities in the case he is going to be elected as an MP, said, "I was an independent MP from Diyarbakır in the previous elections. It didn’t happen and we couldn’t go to the parliament. I hope that this time due to the need for an Islamic opposition in the parliament, not for a society or a single party, we intend to become a voice and representative of all the Islamic societies."
