"We must print prayer to the hearts of our children"

Speaking at the workshop "Life Is Beautiful with Prayer", Mullah Mehmet Beşir Varol, a member of ITTIHAD AL-ULEMA, mentioned the importance of prayer and stated that it should be processed into the hearts of children.

Organized by Qur'an Generation Platform Batman Coordination, the first session of the workshop "Life is Beautiful with Prayer" continues.

Mullah Mehmet Beşir Varol, a member of ITTIHAD AL-ULEMA, who spoke as the second speaker in the first session, gave a speech on "Prayer: Mosque and Youth".

The Prophet is known for prayer, Varol emphasized, adding that it is not possible for a person who does not have a serious relationship with the prayer to be a mujahid, an invitee.

Varol stated that it is possible to reject the idolatry through prayer and through to worship Allah. "There will be no obedience to those who do not worship Allah and do not pray."

"No matter how many tribes have come to this world, Allah has certainly sent prophets to them. Allah left no people without a prophet," Varol added and continued as follows:

"They have all declared a truth. They said, 'worship Allah, and protect yourself from idolatry', that is, La Ilaha illallah [There is no other God but Allah].

There is no beyond of that. This is the basis of Islam. It is the case of all prophets. We can't have anything if we forget this. Everything becomes building on this. Because God is the only creator of the universe.

Since Allah has given everything in the universe, there is no one but Him who influences the truth. So only God should be worshipped.

Allah has created the universe for humankind. And He created man and jinn to worship Him. The universe is a school. Earth and sky serve humankind for the supply of people's needs. Human is also created for worship. Allah has sent messengers so that people may learn what to do."

"We must print prayer to the hearts of our children"

"The people of knowledge and piety should tell people about obedience to Allah," Varol said and expressed as follows:

"Whosoever does good to man, the man pays homage to him. Even if prayer was not obligatory for us, we should have worshipped Allah. That's what we need to tell our kids.

We must instill hostility in the hearts of our children against those who do not obey Allah. It's a principle and we should always tell our children about it. The adhan is being recited and this truth is being told. We read the Qur'an, we pray, this truth comes before our eyes."

"To know Allah is part of worship"

"To know Allah is part of worship. Knowing Allah is the first of all prayers. It is a prayer after Tawhid.

There is no worship that our prophet did more than prayer. He prayed at night, in battles, when he fell into adversity. Our Prophet is known for his prayer.

When this is not fulfilled, the struggle loses its meaning. When the mujahidin find free time, he stands up and prays. When it is like this, it is Mujahidin."

"We must teach our generation to pray"

"When drinking water and saluting, the aim should be Allah's consent. If it is not for Allah, it loses its meaning and is not legitimate. Prayer was the most important point in the life of our Prophet and the life of his companions. Mujahedeen would pray as they stand guard in battle.

Prayer is everything. We must teach our generation to pray. We must make them love Allah before we make them love the prayer.

Our children do not like prayer unless they love Allah, nor do they love mosque unless they love prayer. At this point, we must not leave our children without shepherds."

"Going to the mosque must be a habit for us"

We will not forget that the place of prayer is the mosque. Rasullullah [Prophet Muhammad] connected his companions to the mosque. The messenger of Allah prayed at the sacred mosque, even though the polytheists were tormenting him in Mecca.

The place of prayer is the mosque. After going to Medina, he built a mosque in the village of Kuba. He brought people to the mosque. He did the same in Medina. Firstly, he built a mosque.

In Islam, mosques are everything. Going to the mosque must be a habit for us.  We have to make it a tradition to go to the mosque. It's not enough just to be in the mosque during prayer time. The companions even played their games in the mosque. The Abyssinian Arrow show was held in the mosque and The Messenger of Allah watched it.
