US President Donald Trump said that after the chemical attack in Syria, he will meet with military authorities and make an important decision within 24-48 hours. "We will be making that decision very quickly, probably at the end of today," Trump said.

Answering questions about military intervention to Syria, "We keep every option on the table," Trump answered.

"The first thing we have to look at is why are chemical weapons still being used at all when Russia was the framework guarantor of removing all the chemical weapons," US Defense Secretary Jim Mattis said before the start of a meeting at the Pentagon with Qatari Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
