The ministry of health in Gaza said in a statement that Omar Abu al-Neel has succumbed to his serious wounds suffered in the zionist army’s violent quelling of a peaceful demonstration in east of Gaza City last Saturday.

The child is the second Palestinian to succumb to serious injuries inflicted by the zionist army’s shooting at the protesters in eastern Gaza, who were protesting the continued siege on the enclave and who were marking the anniversary of the arson attack on the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem. 41 Palestinian citizens were wounded in the incident most of whom were children.
