According to local sources, israeli intelligence officers escorted by soldiers interrogated several citizens and brutalized some of them during violent raids on homes in Ni’lin town before kidnaping five young men.

The detainees were identified as Mohamed al-Khawaja, Yousef Surour, Abboud al-Khawaja, Mohamed Surour, and Omar Surour.

Intelligence officers also warned several young men of being involved in any resistance activities individually or as part of Palestinian groups or else they would be arrested and jailed.
