16-year-old girl dies from Covid-19 in France

A 16-year-old girl, who had no other underlying health problem, has died from coronavirus pandemic in Paris, the capital of France.

The youngest victim yet in the country, Julie, was from Essonne, a suburb to the south of Paris, and was being treated at the Necker Hospital in the capital.

299 more people have lost their life due to the pandemic in France, said the country’s Health Minister Jerome Salomon during a press briefing on Saturday.

The total of confirmed case is 32,964 in the country, he added.
