289 new cases confirmed with coronavirus in Turkey, Health Minister says
9 people have died from coronavirus outbreak in the last 24 hours, increasing the total number of deaths in Turkey to 30, tweeted Fahrettin Koca, the country’s Health Minister, on Sunday.
“20,345 coronavirus tests have been carried out on people suspected to be infected with the disease,” he said, adding: “Of those, 289 people tested positive in the last 24 hours, bringing the tally of infections to 1,236.”
Koca also urged all the citizens to stay home.
