3 Turkish soldiers killed, 6 others injured in a fireworks blast in Turkey
3 Turkish soldiers were killed, 6 others injured when a truck carrying explosives collected from a fireworks factory that blew up last week exploded in Turkey’s northwest Sakarya province on Thursday.
According to the country's Interior Ministry, the explosives were being loaded off a truck for a controlled explosion.

On February 1, 2008, a fireworks disaster occurred in Istanbul, the Turkey’s most crowded city, when an unlicensed fireworks factory exploded accidentally, leaving by some reports at least 22 people dead and at least 100 injured.
