37 migrants rescued in Eastern Mediterranean, Turkish Defense Ministry says

Turkey’s Defense Ministry said that 37 irregular migrants had been rescued from a wooden boat off the coast of Lebanon.

“Our TCG BOZCAADA Corvette, which serves as part of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), spotted a wooden boat carrying 37 irregular migrants off the coast of Lebanon. Migrants, including women and children, were rescued from dangerous waters,” the Ministry tweeted on Monday.
