A 3.9 magnitude earthquake jolts southern Turkey
A 3.9 magnitude earthquake has jolted the Ceyhan district of Turkey’s southern Adana province, the country’s Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency announced on Saturday.
The earthquake occurred at around 12:30 p.m., with its epicenter at a latitude of 36.9760 degrees north and a longitude of 35.8410 degrees east, and at a depth of 23,90 km.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damages to buildings.
