Coronavirus worldwide: The number of confirmed cases surpasses 7,200,000
408,769 people have so far died from coronavirus around the world.
The coronavirus outbreak, which was first identified in Wuhan, China and declared a pandemic by World Health Organization on March 11, is continuing to claim the lives of thousands of people across the world.
However, the countries began to ease measures against the coronavirus pandemic, which has been severely affecting the world economy.
The United States, the current epicenter of the pandemic, has the highest number of confirmed cases of coronavirus with 2,026,597 cases, followed by Brazil with 710,887 cases, Russia with 476,658 cases, Spain with 288,797 cases, the United Kingdom with 287,399 cases, India with 267,046 cases, Italy with 235,278 cases, Peru with 199,696 cases, Germany with 186,233, Iran with 173,832 cases, Turkey with 171,121 cases and France with 154,188 cases.
A total of 3,537,869 have so far recovered and been discharged from hospital worldwide.
