71 coronavirus patients have lost their lives in the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 5,887 in the country.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases has been 92,584, an increase of 1112 cases in the past 24 hours.

Some 2,983 patients are being treated in intensive care units at the moment, Jahanpour said.

Until now, 72,439 patients suffering from the novel coronavirus have recovered and been discharged from hospitals, Jahanpour added.
