Death toll from coronavirus outbreak in Iran rises to 1,135

147 people have died from coronavirus outbreak in the last 24 hours in Iran, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,135, said Iran's Deputy Health Minister Alireza Raisi said on Wednesday.

1,192 more cases have tested positive in the past 24 hours, increasing the total number of infections in Iran to 17,361.

"5,710 patients have been discharged from hospital after being cured," he added.
